Supported Independent Living

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from individuals, who are considering transitioning to a supported living home. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who have not lived away from home before or wish to change their current living situation.

Our residential model is based on two share accommodation with 24 hour support provided by our experienced and enthusiastic residential support workers. What this means is that two residents are supported by one worker 24 hours a day.

We develop an individual support plan for each resident and we cater to their chosen level of assistance. Residents decide on the types of capacity building supports which they wish to engage in.  For example some individuals may prefer to cook for themselves, others may require intense assistance with this task. These details are determined by the residents and their families (if they are involved in their support). Our capacity building approach aims to assist residents to strengthen their skills, gain confidence and as a result increase independence.

Some in-house activities include: art therapy; gardening; board games; story time; cooking; singing and movie nights!

The support team, manage medications, manage appointments and are there to support residents with their day to day needs.

Families, friends and support workers are welcome to join our residents in their inclusive home environment. We enjoy frequent BBQ’s, as we find this is a great way to spend time together and get to know each other.

We work with you to achieve your goals and to live your best life. We find our residents flourish in this cooperative and supportive environment and we hope you and/or your loved one will benefit from it too.
